Press Operator 2

Requires thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials and specifications, equipment, and safety requirements and skills to perform assignments. Skill to read and understand job specifications and knowledge of press capabilities to determine the most appropriate press usage, press settings and materials needed to run the job successfully. Skill to make a variety of difficult precise settings of controls, setting and adjustments , and to perform routine operational maintenance of equipment. Skill in routine operational maintenance and minor repairs to equipment. Knowledge of the appropriate amount of packing pressure needed to obtain the proper printing pressure for the type of job being run. Skill in use of micrometer to mount and align the printing plate correctly.

This is a 2nd shift position hours are (8p.m.-8a.m.) on a rotating schedule.

RRD's current salary range for this role is $23.700 to $31.90/hour. The salary range may be adjusted based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the future. At RRD, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. Depending on the role, in addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
