Users may opt in to receive SMS (text) messages from Qiggz during account registration or when enabling SMS notifications within their account settings. Users explicitly consent to receive SMS communications by entering their phone number and enabling SMS notifications through an opt-in checkbox or toggle within the Qiggz mobile or web application.

Before SMS notifications are enabled, users must verify ownership of their phone number by entering a one-time verification code sent via SMS. SMS notifications are not activated until the phone number has been successfully verified.
