SMS Notifications & Consent

Qiggz sends SMS messages to keep you updated on activity relevant to your account — including verification codes, new gig or job alerts, and customer messages. This page explains how consent is collected, what messages you may receive, and how to stop receiving them.

How You Consent to SMS Notifications

Users voluntarily provide and verify their phone number through the Qiggz app settings. No phone number is added without explicit action by the user, and no SMS messages are sent until the number is verified.

When enabling SMS notifications in your Qiggz account settings, you will see the following disclosure:

In Settings → Professional Info, the user enters their mobile number and taps Send Verification Code.

Qiggz sends a one-time 6-digit code. The user enters it to confirm ownership of the number.

Once verified, the user is enrolled in SMS notifications. They can remove their number or reply STOP at any time to opt out.

Types of Messages You May Receive

Qiggz only sends messages related to your account activity. Below are the categories and exact example messages.

Verification Codes (OTP)

Sent once when the user adds or updates their phone number. Never shared with third parties.

Qiggz: Your verification code is 492183. Do not share this code. Reply STOP to opt out.

New Gig or Job Alerts

Sent when a new gig request or job posting is available in the user's service area that matches their skills.

Qiggz: A new gig request was posted in your area. Log in to view details: https://qiggz.com. Reply STOP to opt out.

Customer Messages

Sent when a homeowner or employer sends a message about the user's service profile or application.

Qiggz: You received a message from a customer regarding your service profile. Reply STOP to opt out.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your account activity. You may receive more messages during periods of high gig or job activity in your area. Verification codes are sent only when you request them.
