POSITION SUMMARY
Located at our Cottage Grove, MI location, our CNC Operators help with the production processes of a variety of interior and exterior wood and composite materials. They also work to install glass and door bottoms, package doors, and complete other value-add processes to doors being cut by the CNC. These associates are responsible for the timeliness, accuracy, and completion of these daily operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

This position offers a $300 annual clothing allowance to offset costs for work apparel, protective footwear, and PPE.
- Operate CNC equipment to produce finished product within specifications
- Complete PMs and execute machine maintenance activities that guarantees equipment up time
- Install glass and other door components as necessary.
- Ensure the proper quality, accuracy, and timeliness of door work orders.
- Properly stage all doors for production or shipping.
- Work with multiple teams to verify accurate raw materials and inventories to complete production schedules on time and accurately
- Maintain the organization, maintenance, and cleanliness of the production area, assigned by the Supervisor.
- Ensure that all production areas are properly supplied for the day’s work.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Production Supervisor.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma/GED required
- Prior woodworking would be considered a plus; router, miter saws, table saws
- Prior cabinet manufacturing or trim carpentry work would be considered a plus
- Knowledge of exterior doors would be considered a plus, but not required.

- Ability to work independently

- Ability to accurately read orders and stage material to internal customer needs
- Desire to “do things right the first time”
