Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)
- Install, maintain, test, and repair master fire alarm systems, control panels,
- detectors, alarms, and associated equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems using schematics, wiring
- diagrams, and diagnostic equipment.
- Repair and replace faulty components, wiring, controls, and electrical equipment.
- Perform operational tests and adjustments to ensure systems function properly.
- Maintain accurate fire alarm circuit drawings and documentation.
- Provide technical guidance to junior employees and trainees when assigned.
- Participate in rotational on-call duty and respond to after-hours emergencies
- when required.
Essential Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Licensure Valid state driver's license
- Valid state driver's license
- Education and Certification A recognized fire alarm or fire protection qualification, such as NICET, journeyman training, or a comparable credential CPR certification or ability to obtain and maintain certification

- Required Skill and Competencies Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings Preferred: Familiarity with UFC 3-601-02, NFPA 72, and NFPA 25

- Physical Requirements This is an on-site, hands-on position that may involve working outdoors, in equipment rooms, confined spaces, and at various heights. You should be comfortable lifting up to 40 pounds, climbing ladders, working in tight spaces, and using appropriate personal protective equipment. The role may involve exposure to noise, extreme temperatures, dust, and electrical hazards
