Responsibilities (include but are not limited)
- Assembling/testing of parts using drawings and bills of material
- Point-to-point wiring
- Knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods including crimping and soldering
- Using common hand and power tools
- Familiarity with mechanical assemblies
- Following documented procedures in fitting, adjusting and ensuring proper function of parts
- Measurements with calipers, tape measures, various gauges, and other devices
- Performing minor adjustments to tools and equipment
- Inspection of assemblies
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: High school graduate or GED
- High school graduate or GED
- Required Knowledge/Experience: Valid driver’s license
- Valid driver’s license
- Preferred Knowledge/Experience: Recent experience outfitting and assembling vessels or similar systems Installing outboard and inboard motors Installing waterjets, stern drives, and other similar propulsion systems Installing marine electronics Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge ABYC certifications are a bonus
