- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment; window, glass, or building products experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects, inconsistencies, and quality concerns.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
- Experience using quality inspection tools, including tape measures, calipers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret measurements, fractions, decimals, technical drawings, and product specifications.
- Understanding of standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality documentation requirements.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis, corrective actions, NCR processes, and RMA procedures.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry, spreadsheets, and quality reporting systems.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across production, engineering, management, and customer-facing teams.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Technical training or certification in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Experience inspecting windows, glass, vinyl, or fenestration products.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Understanding of Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) requirements and customer quality expectations.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move materials and products weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, moving equipment, and varying temperatures.
