- Two Year Technical Degree, certificate, or diploma in diesel engines, electronics, or related systems. At least five years of verifiable experience in the industry.
- Experience diagnosing unusual electrical problems in any system including Electrical Control Module/Unit interfaces, wiring, sensors, and controls, diagnosing unusual engine problems, diagnosing unusual problems with cab components, drive train, and braking components.
- Experience with windows-based computer systems.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex issues. [Based on aptitude and past performance].
- Excellent customer service, oral and written communication, and teambuilding skills.
- Welding experience in non-standard situations and on varying materials.
- Thorough understanding of Multiplex wiring, 2022 and newer emission control systems. Especially Automated transmissions.
