Qualifications

Personality Traits

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Additional education or training in transportation, logistics, fleet management, business, or a related field preferred.
CDL preferred.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience managing commercial fleets, drivers, and fleet assets.
Strong knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and HOS regulations.
Experience with driver dispatch, fleet maintenance, compliance, and performance management.
Experience managing budgets, vendors, and fleet-related expenses.
Experience with driver hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.
Computer/software knowledge, including Samsara, Lytx, McLeod, or comparable systems.
Knowledge of commercial tractors, trailers, vehicle inspections, and fleet maintenance.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Organized and detail-oriented.
Proactive problem solver.
Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Data-driven and focused on continuous improvement.

Collaborative and effective at building relationships with drivers and operational teams.
