Essential Duties/Responsibilities

The following list of responsibilities is not all inclusive, additional projects and/or tasks may be assigned to meet operational needs. MCG retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position should operational needs warrant.

Pre-Test/QC and Test completed systems.
Assemble control panels and equipment to meet client and product specifications.
Use hand and power tools as required.
Read and understand electrical schematics.
Take direction from Managers and Team leads.
Follow training instructions from level Three Technician
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Wear proper work attire and PPE.
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge/Experience

High School Diploma or GED equivalent OR relevant experience
Satisfactory completion of additional background screening (if applicable).
Valid driver’s license
Preferred certifications (OSHA10, CPR)

Required Skill/Abilities

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Assist with routine shop and equipment maintenance.
Standard work week is Monday through Friday, typically 40 hours per week, overtime may be required, including evenings or weekends, based on production demands.
Physical exertion may vary depending on position type. May be required to regularly stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, frequently stand or walk around the work area, and lift or move objects up to 50 lbs.
Assembling may involve manipulating small parts and using hand tools. Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity are essential for this job. Comfortable with occasional repetitive motions.
Must be able to access and navigate each department at the assigned facilities.
Manufacturing facilities can be loud and have bright lights. Subjective to seasonal weather conditions (hot in summer and cold in winter months).
