Traffic Control Technician

Work Environment and Physical Demands Employee must be able to successfully handle the physical demands of this position, which include the following: • Hours of operation may vary due to staffing needs. • Frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles. • Frequent exposure to a variety of extreme conditions at job sites including high noise level in the work environment. • The position may work in outside conditions that include inclement weather, not limited to heat, cold, humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt. • Position lifts or carries objects up to 50 pounds. • Stands for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions; employee lifts, pushes, pulls or carries objects. • Position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination.
