- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, 7-day work weeks (depending on community needs and seasonality), and on-call shifts (at least one week a month).
- A reliable mode of transportation to respond to emergency service requests while on-call after hours.
- Comfort with physical activity as you must be able and willing to move heavy equipment and machinery.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Additional Information
Standard union rate at $24.03 per hour for Mechanic A or $21.51 per hour for Mechanic B - depending on candidate's skill set and experience. Rate will increase upon the six-month anniversary. Standard scheduled rate increases apply based on Collective Bargaining Agreement.
The schedule is Sunday-Thursday, 7:00am to 3:30pm.
The benefits included with this position are based off the Collective Bargaining Agreement standards.
