- Experience with HCSS Heavy Job or similar job costing program.
- Experience with P6 or similar scheduling software.
- Experience with Viewpoint or similar account software.
- Experience with Heavy Bid or similar estimating software.
- Experience coordinating pipe fabrication/spool shop activities in support of field installation.
- AWS CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) or similar welding inspection credential.
- Engineering or Construction Management Degree preferred.
- Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights)
- Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds
- Potential or periodic amounts of time for the following: Walking on uneven terrain, with an average of two miles per day
- Standing
- Sit, stoop, crawl, and kneel
- Driving if required to travel
Required
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction of large-scale commercial projects.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a leadership role overseeing pipefitting, welding, and mechanical craft trades.
- Previous experience working on process piping projects within industrial, power generation, refining/chemical, or semiconductor / mission critical markets.
- Extensive experience managing fabrication and field installation of process piping systems, including hands-on knowledge of ASME B31.3 (Process Piping) code requirements.
- Working knowledge of ASME Section IX (Welding and Brazing Qualifications) and applicable NDE codes/standards.
- Experience coordinating QA/QC and inspection activities for pressure piping, including WPS/PQR, welder qualification, NDE, and hydrostatic testing.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, piping isometrics, and piping specifications.
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office products.
- Completion of OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training.
- Ability to travel at least 75% of the time.
- Driver’s license with a clean driving record.
