RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reading and interpreting technical blueprints.
- Manipulating design models.
- Inputting the product designs into the programming software and generating g-code.
- Choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job.
- Adjusting machine settings to the appropriate specifications.
- Loading raw materials into the CNC machine (with and without a forklift).
- Track material consumption.
- Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process.
- Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product.
- Cleaning and maintaining the machine.
- Communicating with engineers and designers as needed.
- Training new staff on machine operation procedures.
- Basic fabrication shop job duties, including cutting material, prepping, cleaning, etc

- 3+ years of experience operating and programming a CNC router
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience programming/ running a CNC router to cut Aluminum, Wood, & Plastics
- Ability to read and interpret design blueprints
- Experience with computer modeling software, including: Rhino, Fusion, & Solid Works
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient communication and collaboration across disciplines
- Ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50-100lbs)
