ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creates nest sheets for plasma tables using nesting software.
- Uses CAD files to produce material cut sheets.
- Reviews all CNC drawings.
- Reviews heat numbers on cutsheets, making sure they match ERP and bill of ladings.
- Optimizes material usage using nesting software.
- Audits material inventory.
- Analyzes job orders, drawings, blueprints, and specifications in order to calculate dimensions, tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates.
- Determines reference points, machine cutting paths, or hole locations, and computes dimensions and curvatures.
REQUIREMENTS FOR CNC PROGRAMMER:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to interpret blueprints required.
- Ability to read a tape measure required.
- CNC Programming experience preferred.
- Experience using plasma machines, nesting software, and Autocad preferred.
- Regular, reliable attendance is required.
