Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on conveyors, HVAC, roofing and other related items around the location
- conducting diagnostic assessments, scheduling and performing repairs and maintenance on all plant equipment.
- Perform tasks for the upkeep of buildings and grounds
- Utilize carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical skills for minor repairs
- Perform preventive maintenance of pumps and motors
- Ability to read manuals to assist in repairs
- Always maintain a clean and pristine work area
- Develop preventative maintenance procedures, document completed work orders and perform other assignments to ensure a safe, clean healthy and efficient facility.
- Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.
Basic Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Experience 2+ years in maintenance related field
- Must pass physical, drug test and background check
- Understanding of safety, lockout/tagout, and compliance protocols
- Certification or license in boiler, welding or electrical field
- Associate Degree from a two-year college or technical school in related field
- Knowledge of hazardous materials handling and OSHA training
- A strong knowledge of electrical, carpentry and plumbing
- Ability to communicate fluently in English
Work Environment
- Required to wear company-provided personal protective equipment including eye protection, foot protection, hard hat, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator.
- Ability to maneuver around heavy equipment including bending, climbing, crawling, manual dexterity, and occasionally lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to pass a DEA background check when relevant.
- Must be willing and able to abide by Clean Earth’s Core Values and Code of Conduct.
