KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Frontline resource for day-to-day troubleshooting of controls issues
- Assist other departments in troubleshooting and determining production issues
- Install and swap out damaged electrical or automation equipment
- Perform emergency controls troubleshooting and fixes on equipment and facility systems
- Assist Controls Engineers with projects and implementing improvements
- Aid in the installation of equipment, repairs, upgrades, panel building, and wiring as needed
- Understand all automation equipment used throughout the plant
- Ensure work is being completed professionally and to Therma-Tru Controls department standards
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience or background in control systems or coding
- High school diploma or GED
- Computer literate
- Ability to read blueprints and machine control schematics
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a group
- Must be willing to work weekends and overtime as needed
- Post-secondary electrical and/or mechanical vocational training
- Knowledge and experience of Rockwell Software and Allen Bradley controllers
- Ability to navigate via PLC operation sequence, I/O information, and instrumentation feedback
- Knowledge of Fanuc robotics
