Senior Estimator, Highway Infrastructure
Qualifications
Requirements and skills
- At least 5 years of proven experience as estimator or similar position – experience with highway or structures asset maintenance is a plus
- In depth knowledge of financial and project management principles
- In depth knowledge and experience of research and data analysis methods and estimation formulas
- Proven advanced math and IT ability with an advanced analytical mindset
- Expert level proficiency in relevant software (Excel, Power BI, etc.)
- Understanding of the proper use and application of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Outstanding and proven communication and negotiation abilities
- High level of integrity with the ability to be trusted with sensitive and confidential company information
- Ability to produce work product that is thorough, reliable , and executable
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to be self directed,, bring solutions and respond accordingly to constructive feedback
- Must be able to work non-standard hours during heavy periods of activity
- Ability to present to executives
