RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate CNC-controlled electron-beam (EB) welding machines including part set-up
Develop, maintain, and evaluate weld schedules
Upkeep general machine maintenance and test
Utilize EB welding on several types of metal including titanium, stainless steel, copper, C103, and inconel

Required Qualifications

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Pay range: Electron Beam Welder/Level 1: $23.00 - $27.00/hour Electron Beam Welder/Level 2: $26.00 - $32.50/hour Electron Beam Welder/Level 3: $31.00 - $38.00/hour

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. High school diploma or equivalency certificate
1+ years of experience with TIG welding or a certificate of completion from an accredited program
Must be willing to work 2nd shift 3:30pm - 2:00am, able to work overtime hours and weekends as needed
Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
Must be able to stand for extended periods – 8 hours min.
Must be able to stoop, bend, crawl, and maneuver in tight spaces
