Responsibilities

Safely climb trees using ropes, saddles, and other climbing equipment.
Perform tree pruning, trimming, cabling, and removals according to industry standards.
Operate chainsaws, pole saws, chippers, stump grinders, and other tree care equipment.
Assist with rigging operations and the controlled lowering of tree limbs and sections.
Perform ground crew duties including brush cleanup, chipping, and debris removal as needed.
Conduct daily inspections of climbing gear, tools, and equipment.
Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
Communicate effectively with crew members to ensure safe and efficient job completion.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, vehicles, and equipment.
Work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain.

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.

EXPERIENCE

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Prior tree climbing experience a plus but not required.
Experience with tree pruning and removals preferred.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (MVR) required.
Ability to travel extensively, including trips lasting 5–6 consecutive weeks at a time.
Ability to work safely at heights and perform physically demanding outdoor work.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety.
