Responsibilities:

  • Property Maintenance Support
  • Assist with routine inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure property integrity and functionality.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and other maintenance staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in property maintenance.
  • Safety and Compliance
  • Follow safety regulations, building codes, and company policies to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.
  • Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues promptly to the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Inventory Management
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of equipment, tools, and supplies, ensuring they are properly stored and accounted for.
  • Emergency Response
  • Respond to maintenance emergencies promptly, including after-hours and on-call responsibilities as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Vendor Coordination
  • Support the Maintenance Supervisor in coordinating with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services.

Required Qualifications

  • Bring your minimum of 3 years of apartment cleaning and/or janitorial experience to the table.
  • Thrive in a collaborative team environment, where your input and teamwork truly matter.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws is a bonus, showcasing your commitment to compliance.
  • Exhibit a keen eye for detail, consistently striving for cleanliness and order.
  • Master the art of time management, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently without compromising quality.
  • Embrace physical requirements, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Showcase excellent communication skills, a must for interacting professionally with both residents and colleagues.
