2nd Shift Medical Waste Plant Operator (7118) *$24/HR*
What will your job involve?
- Receive, weigh, and process incoming sharps and regulated medical waste containers
- Operate our autoclave system for medical waste treatment
- Load and operate our Washsmart container sanitization system
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment following training as needed
- Routinely lift containers weighing up to 55 lbs.
- Push loaded carts weighing up to 200 lbs.
- Spend the majority of your shift standing, walking, bending, reaching, and moving materials throughout the facility
- Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate processing records
- Follow all safety, quality, and compliance procedures
- Collaborate with a hardworking team to keep operations running smoothly
What are we looking for?
- Someone who enjoys physical, hands-on work and is comfortable in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Experience in physically demanding roles such as warehouse, manufacturing, construction, landscaping, shipping/receiving, sanitation, or similar environments preferred (not required)
- Ability to repeatedly lift, move, and transport materials throughout an entire shift
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. regularly and safely push carts weighing up to 200 lbs.
- Comfortable standing and being active for the duration of an 8+ hour shift
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable attendance and a proven track record of dependability
