OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Class A Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently. This role requires a commitment to safety, adherence to delivery schedules, and excellent customer service skills.

- Operate and drive trucks, including tractor-trailers and flat beds, to transport materials to designated locations.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, utilizing forklifts as necessary.
- Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of hours driven and vehicle maintenance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads.
- Communicate effectively with managers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Handle freight securely during transport to prevent damage or loss.
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver with a strong understanding of truck driving regulations.
- Familiarity with conestoga trailers and their operation is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely for loading and unloading freight is preferred.
- Strong navigation skills with the ability to read maps and use GPS technology effectively.
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines consistently.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
Vacation Accrual (Year 1)
- After 3 months โ 40 hours
- After 6 months โ +40 hours (80 total)
- After 9 months โ +40 hours (120 total)
After First Year
- Every January 1st โ 120 hours
After 5-Year Anniversary
Job Type: Full-time
Work Location: In person
- January 1st following your 5-year anniversary โ 160 hours
- 5 days/42.5 hours per week
- Monday - Thursday 7 am-4:30 pm
- Friday - 7 am - 2:30 pm
