OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Class A Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently. This role requires a commitment to safety, adherence to delivery schedules, and excellent customer service skills.

Operate and drive trucks, including tractor-trailers and flat beds, to transport materials to designated locations.
Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, utilizing forklifts as necessary.
Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Maintain accurate records of hours driven and vehicle maintenance.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads.
Communicate effectively with managers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Handle freight securely during transport to prevent damage or loss.
Proven experience as a Truck Driver with a strong understanding of truck driving regulations.
Familiarity with conestoga trailers and their operation is a plus.
Ability to operate forklifts safely for loading and unloading freight is preferred.
Strong navigation skills with the ability to read maps and use GPS technology effectively.
Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines consistently.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
