Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field from an accredited program OR High School diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a hydraulic/electronic service shop or field service environment.
- Experience supporting internal and external customers by addressing technical questions, concerns, and service issues.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 50–60% of the year, often with minimal advance notice.
- Strong interest in learning and applying fluid power technologies, including pumps, motors, proportional and servo valves, and logic valves.
- Willingness to learn and work with industrial hydraulic electronic controllers (e.g., HNC, HPC, HACD).
- Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications; ability to install and utilize controller-specific software as required.
- Excellent verbal communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively under the guidance of senior Field Service Technicians.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet customer and project requirements.
