Controls Wiring Installation Field Supervisor

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Directly supervises field employees in the Controls wiring Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma required; Associate’s [referred; minimum 5 years of experience in scheduling/dispatching required; 2 years of customer service experience required; HVAC industry a plus.

COMPUTER SKILLSFrequent use of computers, mobile devices and Microsoft products to manage business processes and tasks

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSValid driver's license

LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets service bulletins, technical procedure manuals, equipment specifications, and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, policies, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from top management, customers, and service personnel.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITYAbility to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or hear. This position works in a typical office environment with occasional visits to job sites, which include outdoor work and work in mechanical/equipment rooms. During the job site visits, the associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
