Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Reading and/or following instructions required to perform job correctly
- Take notes and refer to them in the future to complete the job
- Inspect parts to assure they are not damaged or not being damaged during processing
- Keep tools, fixtures and work areas clean and organized
- Sweeping, cleaning and performing maintenance on certain equipment required daily or weekly.
- Shape and form tubes or sheet metal components using hand tools such as a vise, hammer or bar.
- Stop and ask questions when not sure of how to do a job or when a problem occurs
- Track and log production requirements
- Achieve production rates (i.e. number of cuts per hour) established by the production team
- Assist other team members, when necessary, to achieve team goals
- Solve problems and/or offer solutions to problems when they arise
- Clean parts per procedures
- Be part of team and have the ability to work well among them
- Be helpful and courteous to others
