ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Sanitize and clean dishes, silverware, and glassware using both manual and automatic dishwashing methods to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Wash and sanitize pots, pans, and trays, ensuring proper removal of food residue and contaminants.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors regularly, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of all kitchen equipment and work surfaces according to established protocols.
- Properly dispose of waste materials into designated receptacles in accordance with facility guidelines and environmental regulations.

- Demonstrated ability to maintain standing and/or walking throughout assigned shifts
- Proficiency in the safe handling and application of commercial cleaning chemicals and sanitization techniques
- Capacity to regularly lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required licenses and/or certifications as mandated by facility standards
- Minimum six (6) months of professional experience in a kitchen sanitation or heavy-duty cleaning role
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations pertaining to food service environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining rigorous sanitation standards
