RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure all parts and hardware are on-hand and kitted for projects
- Receive, store and issue raw materials, parts, details, and hardware to support tooling operations
- Organize parts and materials in bins, drawers, and racks, identifying parts and stored location
- Monitor part supply levels, including shelf-life storage, tooling and consumable inventory
- Maintain documentation of standard equipment and tooling
- Monitor, track, and coordinate movement of parts to ensure project readiness
- Oversee RFI (inventory request) material for upcoming jobs, lineside material cycle counts, and external storage organization
- Ensure projects have proper documentation upon handoff from engineering to dev shop
- Run clear to build reports to optimize tooling schedules
- Develop and implement cost reductions processes and efficiency improvement measures
- Develop and maintain reports to highlight needs, deliverables, and constraints as required for internal and customer use
- Analyze available data and work with supervisors and managers to develop and verify metrics as required to drive optimal results
- Work with planning, procurement, engineering, and production teams to ensure our scheduling and inventory data is and remains clean and accurate

- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 2+ years of supply chain, inventory control, or manufacturing experience
- Available for overtime and weekends as the schedule varies depending on site operational needs; flexibility required
- Able to work in an environment requiring exposure to fumes, odors, and noise
- Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position
- The ability to lift heavy objects is required in this position (up to 25 lbs. unassisted)
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems
- Experience and understanding of inventory and kitting processes
- Experience operating a forklift and related equipment
- 2+ years of experience in aerospace, electronics, automotive, or other high-volume manufacturing
- 2+ years of inventory control experience in a warehouse
- Professional examples of past process and design suggested improvements being successfully implemented
- Ability to adapt to constantly changing work assignments and fast paced environments
- Effective communication skills (verbally and written) across engineering, technicians, and leadership

Pay range: Level 1: $22.00 - $25.00/hour Level 2: $24.50 - $29.00/hour Level 3: $27.00 - $32.00/hour
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
