Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline-powered trucks and snow removal equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to minimize downtime during snow events.
- Repair and maintain hydraulic and electrical systems, including plows, salt spreaders, and related attachments.
- Conduct emergency field service repairs as needed during snow operations.
- Assist with fabrication, welding, and modifications to equipment when required.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state safety requirements.
- Keep tools, equipment, and shop areas clean and safe.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support snow operations.
