What You’ll Do
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on industrial refrigeration systems (ammonia systems experience highly preferred).
- Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, PLC-controlled equipment, and industrial electrical components.
- Read and interpret schematics, prints, and technical instructions.
- Inspect systems regularly to identify potential issues before breakdowns occur.
- Assist with basic utility corridor repairs and general plant maintenance tasks.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with company and industry standards.
- Follow all safety policies, including USDA, QA, HACCP, RETA, IIAR, and sanitation procedures.
- Document work, maintain compliance records, and communicate deviations or concerns with leadership.
- Collaborate with maintenance leads and supervisors on process improvements and efficiency projects.
