The Fabrication department is responsible for the fabrication of raw materials as needed to manufacture quality Mission Critical Group products in a timely manner. The overall objective of the Sheet Metal Assembler 1 position is to engage in all activities concerned with assembling the structural parts of our products and ensure that jobs are completed and shipped as scheduled while meeting our quality standards. Consistent and accurate modeling and representing the Mission Critical Group brand, mission, vision, values and organizational strategy are essential to achieving the goals of the organization.
Schedule: Monday to Friday | Occasional Saturdays
Accountabilities
- Use technical knowledge to review drawings and parts lists to assemble and bolt together parts using the proper hardware. Install and properly align doors, covers, hinges, latches, and gaskets, etc., according to client specifications.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well‐organized work area.
- Coordinate with the foreman to document any engineering or fabrication problems that may cause project delays or effect quality, enabling problem resolution and the delivery of best-in-class quality.
- Contribute new ideas to supervisors to drive continuous improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
