Qualified candidates must be able to perform a variety of jobs, tasks, or duties as required; and must be dependable, able to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as required. They may also be required to pass an aptitude test.
The tasks required, but not limited to, are general housekeeping, clean up, sweeping, vacuuming, painting, lubrication (oiling, greasing, etc.), power washing, lifting and hauling items up and down stairs, dump rework, and operate a motorized fork lift and a variety of other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Primary Duties
Primary Objectives
- Keeping lines running for better efficiency
- Complete work orders as assigned
- Keep work areas neat and clean
- Working Safely and following all SOP’s on lock out of equipment
- Work on PM’s on the areas that are assigned
- Able to assist others on job task
- Identify needed mechanical improvements
- Make necessary mechanical repairs when possible
- Identify and work to eliminate unsafe conditions and/or practices
- Completion and accuracy of down time sheets/GMP log
- Completion of daily PM’s
- Ability to be on call on weekends when required
- Ability to rewire electrical buckets and motors
- Completing PM’s on a daily and monthly time frame
- Working with line operators/supervisors to keep lines running (be proactive)
- Completing work orders in a timely matter
