- Technology & System Mastery Lead the strategic implementation, rigorous optimization, and ongoing administration of critical AP technologies. This includes deep expertise in Oracle Fusion (ERP) and advanced automation tools such as Intelligent Document Recognition (IDR) and workflow automation platforms.
- Exceptional Vendor Engagement Cultivate and nurture strong, collaborative relationships with our vendor base. Proactively manage inquiries, resolve disputes with diplomacy and efficiency, and strategically negotiate favorable payment terms and contracts that align with our financial objectives.
- Precision in Transactional Integrity Lead the timely processing of all vendor invoices, ensuring strict adherence to proper coding, authorization protocols, and all company policies. Manage 1099 compliance and reporting. Oversee the thorough reconciliation of vendor statements and the swift resolution of any discrepancies.
- Punctual and Secure Disbursements Ensure all vendor payments are processed accurately and on schedule, maintaining adherence to payment calendars and internal controls designed to safeguard company assets.
- Analytics & Strategic Reporting Generate sophisticated and timely AP reports for leadership, providing deep insights into AP aging, detailed vendor spend analysis, and critical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Leverage data analytics to identify emerging trends, anticipate challenges, and pinpoint areas for strategic improvement.
- Audit Readiness & Support Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal and external audits related to the Accounts Payable function, providing comprehensive documentation and support.
- Talent Cultivation & Team Excellence Lead the recruitment, training, and ongoing development of high-caliber AP staff. Foster an environment of collaboration, continuous learning, and exceptional performance. Conduct regular, constructive performance reviews and provide ongoing, actionable feedback.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field. Active CPA certification or MBA is preferred.
- Experience A minimum of 7+ years of progressive and impactful experience in Accounts Payable, with a proven track record of at least 3+ years in a strategic supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Oracle Fusion Expertise Deep, hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion, specifically the Accounts Payable module. This includes a comprehensive understanding of its functionalities, complex configurations, and best practices for optimizing AP processing within the system.
- Technology Acumen Demonstrated experience implementing and managing AP automation tools (e.g., IDR, RPA, workflow automation) and a strong understanding of how technology can transform AP operations.
- Strategic Mindset Ability to think critically, analyze complex financial data, and develop strategic initiatives that drive efficiency and cost savings.
- Leadership & Mentorship Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team. A strong coaching and mentoring approach is essential.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal stakeholders at all levels, as well as external vendors.
- Problem-Solving Prowess A proactive and analytical approach to identifying and resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
