  • High School diploma/GED
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Class A Driver's License with a Tank Endorsement within six (6) months of hire
  • Knowledge of the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices
  • Work zone safety
  • Confined space entry
  • Additional construction repair and maintenance experience
  • Experience with saws, compressors, generators, various hand tools, skid steer, excavator, CCTV inspection, vacuum trucks, and tools or equipment related to the assigned division
  • Basic computer skills, i.e. Microsoft Office Data entry experience

An Equipment Operator in Training-Stormwater Operations position is available with the City of Fort Worth Transportation and Public Works Department, Streets and Stormwater Service Area. Candidates selected for this position will work in the Stormwater Operations CCTV Program.

The City of Fort Worth CCTV program is responsible for approximately 1000 miles of drainage infrastructure. The ultimate goal is to generate a system-wide database to properly identify, prioritize, plan, manage, or renovate the City’s 1,000-plus miles of mapped stormwater underground assets.
