Responsibilities will include
- Develop process and product quality standards and quality plans to ensure products will consistently meet the expectations of our customers
- Lead the development of Design Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (DFMEAs) and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (PFMEAs), along with Process Control Plans and test/inspection procedures, to identify, prioritize, and mitigate product and process quality risks
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement critical quality processes and to achieve quality objectives
- Execute process and product quality readiness tasks for production ramp-up
- Ensure quality standards are developed, communicated, and upheld for all actions related to manufacturing the product
- Lead cross-functional problem-solving teams to facilitate swift and effective issue resolution, including root cause investigations using quality tools and the development, implementation, and validation of corrective and preventive actions
- Work closely with the quality systems team to follow standards and processes
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or arelated technical field
- 3+ years of experience in a quality role
- Experience with power electronics or battery technologies
- Knowledge and experience leading structured problem-solving methodologies
- Experience developing and using quality tools as well as other quality system elements
- Adept with process data acquisition and quality analysis tools
- Proficiency in statistical methods and ability to apply them
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to execute with a calm and collaborative urgency
- A passion for sustainability and making the world a better place!
- Standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and performing repetitive motions
Working Conditions
The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
