What You’ll Do
- System Installation Install and assemble pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures for potable water, sanitary lines, grease lines, gas lines, steam piping, and fire protection systems.
- Maintenance & Repair Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on plumbing equipment such as boilers, water heaters, lift stations, interceptors, circulating pumps, and backflow prevention devices.
- Blueprint Interpretation Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to plan efficient system layouts.
- Pipefitting & Fabrication Cut, thread, bend, solder, braze, and weld pipes made of copper, cast iron, steel, PVC, and other materials using hand and power tools.
- Testing & Inspection Conduct pressure tests and inspections to ensure proper function and compliance with local, state, and national plumbing and safety codes.
- Safety & Compliance Follow strict safety protocols when working with hazardous materials, high-pressure systems, confined spaces, or at heights.
- Collaboration & Documentation Work closely with other trades and maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.
- Travel Limited but possible for training or special projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, climbing, kneeling, and reaching.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100 lbs.

We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our facilities team. In this role, you will install, maintain, and repair large-scale, complex piping systems that carry water, steam, chemicals, and gases within an industrial setting. This position requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety and compliance.
What You’ll Bring
- Education High school diploma or GED required; technical school or apprenticeship preferred.
- Experience 10+ years in industrial or commercial plumbing at a journeyman or master level.
- Licenses & Certifications Valid driver’s license, state/county Journeyman or Master Plumbing License, and certifications such as backflow prevention.
- Skills Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
