- 3–4 years of experience in the low-voltage industry with demonstrated proficiency in electronic security systems.
- Strong ability to learn new systems and technologies.
- Excellent time management, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a field‑based environment.
- Ability to meet company driving eligibility requirements, including holding a valid driver’s license and maintaining an acceptable motor vehicle record.
- Ability to travel as required for project and service work.
- Experience with access control, intrusion, or video surveillance systems listed above.
- Technical training or certifications related to low‑voltage, security systems, or electronics.
- Experience with corporate, commercial, or multi‑site environments.

Job Summary
Diversified Systems in Knightdale, NC is seeking experienced Security Technicians to join our team. This role focuses on the installation, service, testing, and maintenance of electronic security systems at various locations across the United States, with most work initially in North and South Carolina.
Technicians will begin by supporting branch system refresh projects and will receive training on company standards and procedures. As skills develop, employees may become eligible for expanded responsibilities, specialized projects, and additional advancement opportunities. Travel will be required - primarily local at first, with the potential for out‑of‑state assignments based on business needs. The ideal candidate has a strong low-voltage background, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to learn new technologies efficiently.
