Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
- Responsible for tracking and analysis on all ongoing project in coordination with Warehouse Manager, delegate tasks/share results with team
- Receiving and staging all materials for customer jobs at company-owned locations.
- Ensure appropriate procedures and standards are established and followed
- Examine materials to verify specifications required and stock materials in designated areas of the warehouse
- Train new warehouse associates and forklift drivers and conduct Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) and annual recertification training
- Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products or materials for distribution such as clamp/slip sheet equipment; load, unload, and store materials/products in designated areas
- Ensure product material handling procedures are followed, model and train PPE Best Practices for team
- Serve as backup to other warehouse roles, as needed
