POSITION SUMMARY
To get trucks loaded and unloaded in a timely and accurate manner. To maintain a safe and clean work environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Loads and unloads trucks using forklifts and pallet jack when necessary.
- Loaders pick orders for incoming truck loads. They also unload inbound product coming.
- Forklift operators also prepare freezer for inventory and conduct year end inventory.
- Conducts daily forklift checklist.
- Follows safety procedures during forklift operation.
- Clean up freezer when requested. Participate in taking repacking items to production when requested.
- Requires driving a forklift on a daily basis. Must have a forklift certification. Must be able to have basic math and reading skills. Must be able to have vision in both eyes. All limbs will be necessary to accomplish job duties.
- Works in a freezer with temperatures reaching minus 20 degrees F. Must be able to lift some light to heavy equipment and product.
- Drive Bobtail truck to perform tranfers between plant and freezer and ocacionally to our vendors.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
