Responsibilities
- Complete flooring installations, repairs, and replacements within designated timelines
- Remove existing flooring materials and properly dispose of debris
- Prepare subfloors by leveling, patching, and addressing minor surface issues to ensure proper installation
- Install carpet, vinyl, LVP, laminate, and tile flooring according to company standards and manufacturer specifications
- Install transitions, trim, baseboards, and finishing materials as needed
- Inspect completed work to ensure craftsmanship meets quality and safety standards
- Measure and estimate materials needed for projects and maintain appropriate inventory levels
- Coordinate with team members and vendors to ensure units are ready for installation
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment
- Document completed work and materials used as directed
- Participate in ongoing technical and safety training programs
- Travel between multiple properties as needed
