Key Responsibilities / Tasks
The employee receives production priorities and instructions from operators and supervisors (via verbal communication and SharePoint), as well as unloading instructions from the logistics office.
- Follow ERP instructions indicating which coil to place on which machine
- Position coils on machines
- Strap and remove coil remnants and record them in SAP
- Unload coil trucks
- Clear the slitting line output table
- Stack coils by type and supplier in designated locations
- Follow supervisor instructions to improve processes and prevent damage or complaints
- Adapt to changing work priorities
- Prepare, move, store, and unload materials within required timeframes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization
- Unpack coils and dispose of waste
- Comply with environmental standards
- Ensure quality and stability of coil stacking
- Follow and enforce safety rules
- Report all activities in end-of-shift documentation for performance tracking
- Support colleagues as needed
- Separate rejected/blocked coils from usable stock
- Participate in inventory and cycle counts
- Conduct 5S audits according to procedures
