Responsibilities
- Read and interpret shop drawings and machining specifications.
- Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and mills.
- Create and modify CNC programs using G-code.
- Work with Fagor, Fanuc, Haas, and Heidenhain controls; experience with every control is not required.
- Maintain machining tolerances as tight as 0.0005 inch.
- Measure and verify finished parts using precision instruments, including: Calipers Micrometers Dial bore gauges Inspect completed work to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality. Maintain consistent production and machining standards. Follow safe work practices in a heavy industrial environment. Maintain reliable attendance and arrive prepared for scheduled shifts. Work scheduled overtime, including occasional Saturdays. Lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs. as needed.

Qualifications
- Previous CNC programming and machining experience.
- Experience setting up and operating CNC lathes and/or mills.
- Ability to read and understand technical machining drawings.
- Knowledge of G-code programming.
- Strong precision measurement and inspection skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain tight tolerances.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality.
- Ability to work independently in a heavy manufacturing environment.
