Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in painting, preferably in service/maintenance roles.
Strong ability to self-perform maintenance and repairs independently.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients on-site.
Knowledge, understanding, and utilization of work order management software.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required for operating company service vehicle).
Capability to obtain and retain security clearances for working in government sector facilities.
Ability to complete and maintain Working at Heights certification.
Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Physical capability to perform the demands of the role, including lifting, climbing, and working in various environments.

Your work will include

Key Responsibilities

Work Schedule

Full space interior painting and refinishing (washrooms, lunchrooms, commercial sales spaces, commercial office spaces)
Perform light wall and drywall repairs (patching holes, cracks, and minor damage)
Surface preparation including cleaning, scraping, sanding, priming, and masking/protecting surrounding areas
Apply paint, coatings, and finishes using brushes, rollers, sprayers, and other professional tools to achieve even, durable, and aesthetically pleasing results.
Complete final cleanup of work areas, including removing protective coverings, sweeping, dusting, and ensuring sites are left in pristine condition
Provide a high-quality, professional paint finish with attention to detail.
Keep work areas and facilities clean by sweeping, dusting etc.
Identify and report the need for major repairs beyond painting scope.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment to complete required tasks.
Respond to client-submitted service calls in a timely and professional manner.
Work from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or specifications to complete client scope of work.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on jobs.
Use of company issued electronic devices to complete required entries into client management system.
This is a full-time position with regular working hours of Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm.
Possibility for after-hour and weekend work schedules based on client and site specific projects.
