Description

Conduct jobsite audits, identify unsafe conditions or behaviors, verify corrective actions, and ensure compliance for high-risk work activities
Partner with Crew Leaders and field personnel to troubleshoot safety issues and build solutions that keep work both safe and compliant
Support injury management, including directing employees to appropriate medical providers and coordinating modified or restricted-duty return-to-work opportunities
Coordinate safety training, including scheduling, new employee orientation, third-party training, and training records
Administer the Respiratory Protection Program, including scheduling, fit testing coordination, and recordkeeping
Order, stock, transport, inspect, inventory, and distribute safety supplies, PPE, and equipment, and help employees select the right gear
Maintain SDS inventories and electronic management systems; inspect fire extinguishers, AEDs, and first aid cabinets, and arrange replacement or repair as needed
Review Safety Surveys and Near Miss/Hazard Recognition reports to spot trends and follow-up actions
Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action development
Provide technical safety support for the planning and execution of work activities
Support continuous improvement of the safety program, including program content, recordkeeping, and reporting
Track Toolbox Talk participation and share performance reporting with departments
Attend or facilitate safety meetings and lead by example on our safety culture
