Community Outreach & Strategic Sourcing
- Owns the end-to-end health of the interpreter resource pipeline, enforcing pre-determined SLAs across testing, training, and qualification milestones for both employee and IC resources
- Serves as the primary interface with the Talent Acquisition team, establishing and adjusting Hot Lists of priority languages and locations to drive proactive sourcing against Fulfillment’s requirements
- Monitors pipeline throughput, proactively identifies bottlenecks, and coordinates with Talent Acquisition, QMT, and IC Management Group to resolve issues; escalates to the Program Manager when resolution requires PM intervention
- Analyzes the candidate pool on an ongoing basis to identify opportunities to expand language and location coverage within the RTW pool, prioritizing against Fulfillment’s current and forecasted requirements
- Adjusts pipeline prioritization dynamically in response to Fulfillment’s shifting needs, ensuring RTW pool composition consistently aligns with operational demand
- Coordinates the court site visit program across the Program Manager and Fulfillment staff, ensuring findings are documented and incorporated into pipeline prioritization and RTW pool forecasting
- Provides regular reporting on outreach activity and its impact on interpreter pipeline growth for priority languages and locations.
- Sets and adjusts community outreach priorities based on real-time pipeline health, Hot List requirements, and forecasted Fulfillment demand.
- Leads targeted outreach efforts to build awareness of interpreter opportunities in high-demand, rare, and languages of lesser diffusion, focusing on activities most likely to produce qualified candidates.
- Develops and maintains working relationships with community-based organizations—such as nonprofits, immigrant support groups, cultural associations, faith-based organizations, and educational institutions—that serve as practical referral sources for interpreter candidates.
- Works closely with Talent Acquisition to identify and prioritize outreach opportunities, including community events, job fairs, and local partnerships, that align with current and anticipated interpreter demand.
- Represents SOSi and the EOIR Language Services program externally, clearly communicating interpreter role expectations, eligibility requirements, and the importance of language access in supporting due process.
- Maintains outreach contact records, tracks engagement with external partners, and monitors referrals and potential candidate leads through the early stages of the pipeline.
- Reviews outreach outcomes to identify gaps, trends, or underperforming channels, and recommends adjustments to strengthen sourcing results for priority languages and locations.
- Provides regular reporting to the Program Manager on outreach activity and its impact on interpreter pipeline growth for priority languages and geographic areas.
