SOSi is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Specialist to join our team in Fort Meade, MD in support of IT, Engineering & Logistics.

Essential Job Duties

Schedule vehicle requests with instructors and staff through the Transportation Motor Pool (TMP) and assigned vehicles.
Inspect vehicles with requesters during the issue and turn-in of government vehicles. Inspecting proper fuel levels, cleanliness, and serviceability.
Work with TMP for vehicles requiring service. If vehicle is found to be unacceptable due to the listed conditions, report discrepancies directly to Government.
Operate a computer and peripherals to input, retrieve, and manipulate data, and to prepare correspondence, forms, and reports.
Ensuring the proper storage of items or goods stored in the warehouse.
Reserving space allocation for property and items or goods.
Ensuring that labels for goods are updated and accurate and that all goods and properties are stored in the correct location.
Ensuring that all receipts are processed in a timely manner.
Ensuring that requested goods are delivered to the appropriate requester on time.
Properly identifying goods or items and correcting discrepancies related to their quality, nomenclature, identification, or part numbers.
Keeping accurate records of maintenance by physically counting and identifying items or goods in the warehouse or stockroom.
Keeping accurate and detailed records and ensuring that information or details about goods or items are correct.
Other duties as assigned.
