Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Education & Experience • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred. • 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in extrusion.

Technical Skills • Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics. • Basic PLC troubleshooting experience. • Ability to use diagnostic and precision tools.

Preferred Experience • Extrusion equipment including screws, dies, and downstream equipment. • Heating/cooling systems and tooling maintenance.

Competencies • Strong problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently. • Good communication and teamwork. • Attention to detail and time management.

Physical Requirements • Lift up to 50 lbs. • Stand, walk, bend, and climb. • Work in heat, noise, and industrial conditions.

Work Environment • Manufacturing plant setting. • May require overtime and shift work.

Level II Differentiation • Independently troubleshoot most issues. • Handle moderately complex repairs without supervision. • Mentor junior technicians. • Participate in improvement initiatives.
