The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician will minimize downtime by performing all necessary preventative and corrective maintenance while following all safety and environmental guidelines.

Responsibilities

Complete preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment, machinery, electric controls, panel construction, wiring, fabricate, weld, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, solder, grind, saw, use hand tools and other shop equipment.
Safely modify and install energy control devices.
Monitor equipment and operations to meet quality and safety standards.
Comply with lock out, tag out (LOTO), confined space, respirator, and other applicable training and procedures.
Follow diagrams, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specs.
Locate problem sources by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, talking to operators or supervisors, using manufacturer’s manuals, and using precision measuring and testing equipment.
Maintain maintenance supplies by anticipating needed equipment and communicating needed supplies and irregularities.
Maintain technical and professional knowledge.
Provide direction, guidance, information, and resolve customer or product design concerns.
Perform administrative duties (complete paperwork accurately and timely and legible).
