What You’ll Do

Safety leadership & compliance: Champion a safe work environment; enforce PPE usage; maintain clean, orderly work areas; and ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed.
Shift leadership & team supervision: Direct, coach, and develop hourly team members to meet daily safety, training, quality, culture, and production standards.
Production execution: Plan, prioritize, and coordinate work to meet schedule commitments and achieve efficient, economical run rates; manage labor cost per ton.
General operations oversight: Supervise and support production activities across melting, molding, finishing, and pipe operations. Ensure equipment is operated safely and efficiently, troubleshoot issues, and recommend process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
Quality assurance & continuous improvement: Maintain production and quality standards; recommend and assist in changing methods and processes to improve safety, efficiency, and product quality.
Maintenance coordination: Partner with Maintenance to inspect, repair, and maintain equipment and machinery to optimize run times and minimize downtime.
Timekeeping & administrative control: Monitor and authorize team members’ time in the payroll system; complete required production logs and operational records.
Housekeeping and other duties: Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area; perform other duties as assigned by department leadership.
