What You'll Do
- Start up and shut down injection molding machines according to established procedures and production priorities.
- Respond to machine alarms, troubleshoot issues, and restart equipment following corrective action.
- Perform routine mold cleaning and parting line preventive maintenance.
- Document process setup sheets and maintain accurate records.
- Clean presses of debris and purged materials.
- Verify that molds are operating within established process parameters at startup.
- Ensure finished parts, scrap, and runner waste are properly contained and handled.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production challenges.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe molding floor.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of experience in molding operations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
- Detail-oriented with a methodical approach to troubleshooting and completing tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with Sumitomo and Sodick injection molding machines is a strong plus.

In this hands-on role, you will support the setup, operation, and maintenance of injection molding machines in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll work closely with Process, Tooling, Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to keep operations running efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards.
